MalfermitaKodo: Only if something is REALY broken

I just want to burn a live CD
fiercelyErythrina, then just add the entries for windows as you have already. and just add the entry for redhat. it should be as simple as that i think
dystopianrayMalfermitaKodo: you can use cdrecord from a terminal to do it
AntializeMalfermitaKodo: Im sure that there are nice commandline tools that will do that for you..
Oh to slow.....
MalfermitaKodohmmm k
Erythrinafiercely, i added entries for windows and it just display grub commands without booting

zid`: it's likely a problem with how you've configured it on gentoo
noob|001anybody help me ?
zid`dystopianray: for sure
X is set up how slack was, but I have no idea about gentoo yet, so it could be anything
cybaneWhen setting up Gentoo for the first time for a personal system should I seperate my /home into its own partition?
mrclarkCybane, yes.
dystopianrayCybane: I do
mrclarkCybane, it's not *required*, but it makes backups, upgrades, OS switches, etc.. much much easier.
corranIt also protects you from overloading /var which can cause problems
like logs not logging and mail not spooling
idletaskWell, install logrotate in this case
MalfermitaKodoOkay, there are xk references to a missing libdbus-1.so.2, will revddep-rebuild emerge it?
frog_hi, i have /CONFIG_NTFS_RW=y, mount shows: dev/sda1 on /home/frog/films2 type ntfs (rw), but cant write though. any clue?
corranidletask: logrotate doesn't help if disk usage hits 100%
idletaskcorran: it will _prevent_ disk usage from getting to 100% in the first place
