Szeraaxcactusbin: tis fine
sepskitorrr, then you can implement it, and we can blacklist you. everyone happy :)
Szeraaxcactusbin: so you are having no prob no?
now*?
torrrxand, then put a cr on your system and they will never get this unless they have originated the email
cactusbinSz: nope
xandtorrr: what, so we can get blacklisted for SPAMMING?>
cactusbinbut I am wondering which is better for an apache2 server: ReiserFS or ext3 (or one of ther other ones)
sepskitorrr, altho i only have 5-600 domains on my mailserver i still get a few periods of backscatter a month.
cactusbin, ext3!
!reiserfs
dpkgi heard reiserfs is a journaling filesystem with pretty good performance and some interesting features. See http://www.namesys.com. It is wonderful and everyone loves it, until the axe falls and they lose data due to a crash. As such, it has a lot of ex-fans who are now sadder but wiser. See ext3, xfs, or jfs for safer filesystems. like the Dharma Initiative: government-sponsered, highly scientific and secretive.
cactusbinreally?
sepski!ext3
dpkgmethinks ext3 is the One True Filesystem. If you have to ask what filesystem you should be using, use ext3. Ask me about "ext2->ext3", "xfs" and "ricerfs".
xandtorrr: read http://kmself.home.netcom.com/Rants/challenge-response.html
tarzeaudoes someone know what "julfisk o brodmies" means?
cactusbinwell I installed ReiserFS since I have alot of small css files
sepskicactusbin, make sure you have good backups
HostilePenguini installed reiserfs because i thought it was the thing to do
sepskicactusbin, maks sure you have a ups that shutdown when powergoes
HostilePenguindamn it
sepskicactusbin, and keep long history for your backups
itchiHi, i have some troubles on a computer with my hdd or the controller. After some (random) time the computer lock himself and the light of the hdd stay on. How can i debug this trouble? It's a brand new hdd btw, the previous have die a very few ago
sepskixand, actualy a dns BL for domains that use CR would be convinient. :)
tarzeauitchi: run badblocks on it?
xandsepski: yeah
humboltoThe UUIDs of the partitions in a RAID and the RAID itself should be the same, right?!
itchitarzeau: I gona look for that now
DawnLighti what file did pppoeconf put the command "pon" to run at bootup?
bzedhumbolto: no, you'll see that if you ahve a look into /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf
tarzeauhaha this is really funny http://bbspot.com/News/2000/4/linux_distros.html
xandtorrr: why don't you just setup spamassassin properly instead
torrrxand, because I think cr is better
xandtorrr: I think you're very wrong
torrrxand, we shall see
itchiSorry, it have again lock up. A bit faster now, that may be some sad news i guess :-(
torrrxand, being wrong is the way to learn
itchitarzeau: Did i miss somethings after you msg of the badblocks?
Roninwell not exactly torrr but whatever works
