dubDewi, im just using apt-get and dpkg but have no idea how many people have messed with the box
acehighregulate_, k if thats the case then no its not loaded
acuwhat I hate about Linux is that almost always is as if you are going in Vacation and at every corner you need to go under the car or open the hood - is just taking the fun out of it - it is almost as if if you have nothing else to acomplish than it will OK but when you need to be productive ...
Dewidub: it sounds as though somebody has tried to build something using headers from unstable
acehighhrm i wonder
regulate_try modprobe -v fglrx
dduongAcu: Maybe this would help you: http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/247
acehighregulate_, looks like it loaded now
regulate_acehigh: what card do you have
Dewidub: on the bright side, since libc6-dev is just a headers package, probably nothing relies on it unless you are building software
acehighati radeon X1600
Dewidub: so you could probably remove it
rommelAcu, hey windows to someone not computer/os literate isnt any better and you have to pay for it

jakedeathlesscan anyone tell me how i can get sudo to work for me?
EdLinjakedeathless: man sudoers, skip past the BNF to the "EXAMPLES" section
acurommel: I beleive you - though I used Debian for a while - I can do a lot of tasks with Windows in 5 seconds and it takes me 5 days to do it with linux - and that is fine as long as next time is smooth and trouble less - for example to share a file is still a VOODOO in Debian - while in Windows it takes half a second - but anyhow I think that is why Ubuntu rose up so fast
geekunitalright.. best lightweight debian firewall?
EdLin!troll Acu

EdLin!troll Acu
