dpkgit has been said that amd64 is See http://www.debian.org/ports/amd64/ and the #debian-amd64 IRC channel, or http://alioth.debian.org/docman/view.php/30192/21/debian-amd64-howto.html, now official, will be a supported arch on Etch, or a generic name. it also supports xeon etc, see http://wiki.debian.org/DebianAMD64Faq. Consider using debian/i386 if you do not have a good reason to use debian/amd64. for flash on amd64, ask me about nspluginwrapper
