BlackRayneWhy would debian restart without reason
zhaoymhi. how can i find out what fonts i can use for rxvt/urxvt?
SlackRatwhat means 'backing up' ?
purplepenguinsthat is a contradiction in terms
because you said it had no reason
and you were asking why
BlackRayne><
Well there needs to be a cause
purplepenguinswhat did it do?
did it go to the regular restart menu
BlackRayneits random
purplepenguinsor did it just go blackscreen and boot up like a hard reboot
BlackRayneIt can be at the login prompt
hard reboot
LinuxNITmy sisters desktop started doing that when the powersupply went out
purplepenguinscould be a hardware problem

plasmabif anyone at debian is interested in advertising debian as being used on a crazy high profile project, check out... http://www.metronocturne.com/projectgal.html and http://www.metronocturne.com/qe2lighting.html (its pretty and a safety critical system)
BlackRayneSUSE won't detect my SCSI drive
weltschmerzi've asked this question before, but never got a very helpful answer. who is the best person in the debian community to talk to about Debian's voting method? Right now Debian uses a poor and complex method called Condorcet voting, whereas Range Voting and Approval Voting are massively simpler and better.
So I'd like to suggest that Debian switch.
BlackRayneAny other one you suggest I try, LinuxNIT?
aruizweltschmerz: you should discuss that in the proper mailing list, IRC is not a good place to discuss that
weltschmerzmailing "list"?
you don't have the email address of the person I should contact?
