jasta\amethyst: -safe-mode has no effect on the bug, but clearly does disable my extensions.
\amethystjasta: how does one set the theme in iGoogle?
jastaIt should be across on the row that says "Add a Tab" with the verbiage "Select a theme"
EdLin\amethyst: upper-right corner - "themes *new*"
ma3xI want to submit a bug about the kernel module sis900 how do I do that?
jiooerHello what do I add to /etc/gdm/gdm.conf to make it propmpt for root password when a user tries to shutdown the computer?
ravnanyone can help me. I'm creating a project in Anjuta (completely new to this), but then when I run ./autogen.sh I get the error
checking for PACKAGE... configure: error: Package requirements (libgnomeuimm-2.0) were not met:
No package 'libgnomeuimm-2.0' found
And when I try to apt-get this I cannot find it, also I cannot find it via Google. What is this?
\amethystjasta, EdLin: no problem here with 2.0.0.3-2
jastais that in etch?
xinguformorer: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=425061
EdLin\amethyst: are you signed in?
\amethystEdLin: yes
wykishello, how to extract a specific folder from an archive using tar?
EdLin\amethyst: strange
jastaEdLin: are you running 2.0.0.3-2? I have 2.0.0.3-1 in etch.
EdLin2.0.0.3-1
ma3xwhat should I add to /etc/network/interfaces to specify NIC speed at 10Mbps
jastaI'll pull up the -2 changelog, maybe they addressed it but haven't put it in ETch yet.
\amethystjasta, EdLin: None of the changes from -1 to -2 seem to be relevant
Scud_hello, where can i get the alsa-modules-2.6 package?
jastacould it be an auxilliary package like -gnome-support causing the problem?
xinguma3x: depends on NIC; it'll either be ethtool or mii-tool to do the work, and hooked using an "up" directive under the iface line.
jastas/ll/l/
wykishow to extract a specific folder from an archive using tar?
EdLin!folder
dpkgfolder is a directory damn it! near My Computer and Network Neighborhood... or the things you put in a filing cabinet. IMAP protocol's mailboxes.
xinguma3x: iface ... eth0 ... ... up /sbin/mii-tool ...
ma3xxingu, in /etc/network/interfaces?
qubitshey
i have a .deb for my current kernels madwifi-ng modules
i need to patch the source though
xinguma3x: yep, exactly; ifup itself doesn't talk those ioctls, so you need to do this as an up script action for the interface concerned.
\amethystjasta: possible... I've got gnome-support, too, though
qubitsi tried downloading the latest source and i get invalid module format from modprobe
EdLin\amethyst: I'm not running gnome-support
jasta\amethyst: weird then. perhaps there is something particular to our modules?
iGoogle modules, that is.
