cocoauscan anyone tell me if the nvidia driver in the sid repos is still broken or nto?
nhuisman_workah
good
was wondering why a deleted package was in there.
\amethystnhuisman_work: r in first column means it's marked as "remove", and c in second column means "only conffiles installed"
mackssyay it booted!
thanks \amethyst and itchi
acuIs Cinelerra installable in Debian Etch ?
itchinhuisman_work: You may need to look to the header of the output of dpkg -l. Try dpkg -l | less
nhuisman_workthere we go, purged those mofos
so I have a question: say I have a raid box with an lvm created volume. Now I export this volume with iscsi or gnbd to a remote box. Now I run a virtual machine on this exported iscsi block device. If I get a read error inside my virtual machine, does that error propogate to the raid controller and mark the array as degraded?
unlinkwhat's a good webmail program?
nhuisman_worksort of not debian related, but figured i'd ask if anyone knew.
bwlangunlink: horde + imp
zeebleunlink: squirrelmail. imp.
unlinkwhat's imp?
nhuisman_workimap

zeeblebst as in? it looks good? that's the only parameter?
PepseEven the older crippled debian package of roundcube rocks
xarquidso, general question - not "up to date" on current programming books...but a friend wanted to get involved in open source/programming basics (he's an intermediate linux admin of afew servers) -- any book recommendations or where should I point him? :)
already made him buy the o'rielly perl book and the o'r* kernel book ;)
PepseThere's an old C programming book that is still really good..
I think it's either called The C Programming Bible or just Learn C Programming
