When I try to install etch with the automatic LVM partitioning I get a kernel panic. When I manually (or automatically) set up partitions without LVM, I get an error about uswsusp not being able to find the swap partition. Is this going to completely disable my swap or merely disable suspend?

abrotmanyay!
jazbo2185So thanks for the help
Guerinjzxu: why?
jzxu: use the debian packages
jazbo2185abrotman: it's so damn easy when you know exactly what to do... ;)

Guerinso fix them
PeacimowenYou're not going to solve problems by using rpms
Guerininstalling the broken official rpms will be evil
