bzedrainabba_: what machine do you have?
rainabba_Core2Duo e6300 on P965 chipset
bzedrainabba_: of, modprobe kvm_vt then.

rainabba_Searched the misc folder.
bzedI prefer amd
rainabba_, perlmonkey, wols and others: http://pastebin.ca/413303 bonnie++ on my 3x300G sata I'm using in my desktop here
rainabba_Did rmmod kvm-intel and modprobe kvm-amd to be sure and it still won't load. kvm-intel better than nothing :)
ShredZnobody can tell me why I have to rerun my nvidia installer every time the system boots again (problem is in GLX)
bzedrainabba_: lol you can;t use kvm-amd on an intel box
rainabba_bzed: WHich controller?
bzedShredZ: you don't want to use that nvidia isntaller at all
wolsShredZ: your nvidia kernel module is probably not loaded after reboot
eightpackswhat's kvm used for?
DawnLightwill someone be as enough as to tell me how to configure my usb mouse correctly?
bzedShredZ: are you on etch?
ShredZwols, yes it is
bzed, yes I am
bzedShredZ: use the --uninstall function of that nvidia thing then
ShredZ: I think /usr/bin/nvidia-installer --uninstall
ShredZ: or somethign liek that.
ted__Is there some tutorial about how to compile with the libstdc++6-dbg libraries in /usr/lib/debug instead of those in /usr/lib....? thanks!
bzedShredZ: after that, do what dpkg will tell you
rainabba_bzed: I seeing 99% CPU during those tests?
bzed!tell ShredZ about nvidia one-liner
rainabba_: are you using md for your raid?
rainabba_bzed: yes
bzedrainabba_: nVidia Corporation MCP55 SATA Controller; 3x 300G, md raid 5
rainabba_: no wonder, it needs to calculate a ton of parity.
rainabba_Yah, software raid :( Good argument for spending the $$ on hardware raid. We'll see how bad mine is in a few. Need to expand this lv first.
ShredZbzed, that your page ?
bzedShredZ: which one?
ShredZbzed, bzed.de with the nvidia stuff on it
bzedShredZ: yes. are you sure that you need the experimental stuff?
ShredZ: if not, jsut stick with the normal driver from etch
ShredZbzed, I kinda like the beryl eye candy and it works flawlessly on etch, only hickup is I need the 96.xx driver to support my gf3
