dpkggives haggz a pony
^rob^btw - it does not answer my question - "It's fasteeer, it's betteeeerr... "
actionhaggz takes dpkg for a pony ride
haggztakes dpkg for a pony ride
enoufhehe
^rob^well - does get latest packages or not?
fridimWyzard, (hd0) sda (hd2) sdc
enoufbtw .. the links there do .. it always amazes me how some people can read all the docs so fast
fridimMaybe after the root(hd2,0); setup(hd0); there is a save command that I forgot ?
Supaplexenouf: I think people these days do little reading, and too much searching. if they'd just sit where they are and read what's in front of their face, amazing things might happen.
enoufhaggz: my apologies .. er .. i meant 1st grub , then device, then root, then setup .. doh!
holaang:
^rob^exit
enoufsorry haggz .. more pony rides for you

Guerinanyone know when the pci 2.2 spec version went into widespread production?
enoufGuerin: around 2000 ish? .. interfacebus.com or en.wikipedia.org/wiki/pci would know
aphexerIs there any command line ftp client in debian stable which supports tls?
Guerin!best ftp client
dpkgsomebody said best ftp client was lftp
streuner!ftp must die
dpkgFTP MUST DIE! http://wooledge.org/mywiki/FtpMustDie
aphexerwhat do you suggest then?:) The file is already encrypted and compressed. Scp is just to resource eating for it, and it's tens of gigabytes i need to transfer
lftp doesn't support tls in debian stable
streunerbut in sid?
!simple sid backport
dpkgfrom memory, simple sid backport is 1) Add a deb-src line for sid to your sources.list. 2) apt-get update 3) apt-get build-dep packagename;apt-get -b source packagename 4) install the resulting debs, or pay someone to do it properly :), or ask me about <backports>, or http://www.linuks.mine.nu/abp/
Guerinaphexer: so ... why wouldftp-tls be any better than scp/sftp?
