enoufitchi: there's been a ton of language and locale(?) changes/ updates since last nov.. not sure which date you have
itchiipfreely: As long your bot is running, you may not hand edit your config files, otherwise these are overwrited by the stuff in the memory
ipfreelyitchi: cool
enouf!slap itchi to get his attention
actiondpkg strikes a resounding *THWAP* across itchi to get his attention's face

enouf: Now you did the reflection, i had not think to these /old/ cd's haha, ba, netinstall
ipfreely: If you hand edit your config file while the bot is running, you need to tell the bot to 'reload' the stuff
jcole/sbin/ifconfig | /bin/grep HWaddr | /bin/grep '{print "macchanger -A " $1}' | /bin/sh
i want to add that to my init scripts
itchiipfreely: (but i suggest you to shutdown it the time you learn the stuff so you been see the stuff happend when you restart it again,)
jcoledamnit
Dark_ApostropheHow do I see the name of the current ALSA driver?
jcole/sbin/ifconfig | /bin/grep HWaddr | /usr/bin/awk '{print "macchanger -A " $1}' | /bin/sh

Dark_ApostropheThe name I'd check while setting up the kernel for compilation
jcoleso i can have my mac randomly generated

itchiIs there a lazy way to do 'aptitude install xfonts-*' ?
jelly-homejcole: do you really want it in init scripts, or just before getting the network up?
jcole: I'd suggest a pre-up line in /etc/network/interfaces
Dark_ApostropheHello? :)
jcoleitchi: aptitude install "~n^xfonts-"
jelly-homejcole: also, eval `/sbin/ifconfig | grep HWaddr | awk '{print "macchanger -A " $1}'` might be a bit nicer
jcolejelly-home: it's a livecd
itchijcole: Woooaa coool
jelly-homejcole: this is just an simplified example, right?
jcoleitchi: here's a tip, this will show you what it's selecting -> aptitude search "~n^xfonts-"
holycow*hmmm*

itchijcole: Gona look
jcole: Thanks! :-)
Solakjcole: I did a apt-cache search xfonts
jelly-homejcole: ... sorry, my eval doesn't work for multiple interfaces
