westsideso I'm on my second attempt to upgrade my kernel from 2.6.8 to 2.6.18 and keep hitting the same problem. I answer No to remove existing kernel and then get an error abount 2.6.8 depending on initrd tools which then the upgrade fails. anyone run into this?
ithiumxingu: yes; i believe that should be 29070 cylinders
HardDisk_WPabrotman, but do you know anything how to access the /dev/video1 device?
abrotmanHardDisk_WP: webcams suck .. IMHO :)
xinguithium: I think we might have found your problem, but let me test first.
karstenHardDisk_WP: You can ignore quits/joins. I do.
HardDisk_WPabrotman, *g*. well, cat /dev/video1 gives me a flood of ASCII characters
simonrvnusually you just have some app accessing the video device
