| dmehler | Mightnare, the issue i was seeing is when the rpmbuild went to delete files in /tmp that's when it failed. Mr|Dave Do you have any notes on raid, something for live systems? The stuff i've found relates to doing it during the install and i'd rather not take this box down unless i have to. |

| Mr|Dave | not handy, and i've only done it post-install on debian, which might confuse you if i remember, the trick was to install a degraded raid1 on the new drive move your data over then setup the first drive and put it into the raid1 |

| Jellorian | I have CentOS 4.4 and it came with a bad CentOS-Base.repo file. Can anyone refer me to where to get a good one? I can't get Yum to work. I've googled and tried lots of different ones, but I can't get yum working. I need to install perl-devel But I can't find a repo that has it I really need the perl-devel package installed. Can anyone help me out? |
| dmehler | Jellorian, I am using 5, so i can't help you with the yum issue, but if you get the perl-devel srpm you can do an rpmbuild on that. |
