orc_orcdiomac: stop the ntpd
resunc the time with ntpdate
hwclock -w this time
restart the ntpd
jbtanyone has idea?
Evolutionjbt: unless you're talking about nis, netgroups don't really apply
and if you are talking about nis, may god have mercy on you.
orc_orc.... let your fingers do the walking through the Yellow Pages ...
diomacorc thank you, i was running ntpdate with ntpd running, thats was my error.. really didnt get enough sleep last night
overseerrdate also works if you're UDP firewalled
orc_orcthe ntpd blocks the socket ntpdate wants
Evolutionjbt: you might also want to check out -> http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Howto:Netgroups
jbtEvolution: yeah, actually this really screwed cause it used to be nis netgroup but migrated to MS AD
