NY Lost Funds

LeddyHMhmm
I see the code coming in from my external ip, then getting passed on to voip provider
plasmidScenario: is it possible to use an 1-866# that's tied to one DID# provider (A) to ring a DID# from provider (b)?
jsolaresi guess you could create a new call to DID#B from the * box that received DID#A
also some providers have fallback to pots for DID's you could try that as well
LeddyHMjsol: when * sends a dtmf evt out, the provider receives it and translates it to an actual tone through a pots line?
jsolaresLeddyHM: it should
try a different voip provider, voipjet has a free iax2 account with 0.25$ enough for testing, nufone is great also
LeddyHMfree is better :)
at one point they said we needed to upgrade to 1.4 tree to change the delay or something (for tones)
jsolaresyou get what you pay for as well, but yeah free is better
LeddyHMvoipjet.com ?
jsolaresyep
it's not even great, but good enough for you to test
LeddyHMlooks like a pay as you go credit based
Waverly360Welp, I have sipp running on one of those boxes. I'm gonna let it run all weekend and see if the damned thing crashes.
LeddyHMseems like something useful
wonder if they do auto creation of accounts
actionLeddyHM keeps reading
LeddyHMkeeps reading
jsolaresgood luck Waverly360
LeddyHM: they do, and paypal as well, just only verified paypal
Waverly360jsolares: Thanks. night everyone.
LeddyHMdamn, never verified our paypal
jsolaresnufone is also pay as you go, better service, did's but more pricey and only US termination is "offered" altho i think A-Z works just as well just no official pricing
LeddyHMI don't need any "services"
just an external sipconnect
jsolaresvoipjet is iax2 only, nufone i think works with both
LeddyHMbe better to do apples to apples, I think
jsolaresapples to apples? sip to sip?
LeddyHMnon iax
jsolaresa friend has a "call center" with 4 booths sip phones, only uses IAX2 for outbound calls, works great
LeddyHMsince we aren't connecting to cbeyond via iax
threatok back to my original question I asked yesterday that nobody answered. I am having DTMF problems, where I ring up a company that has a menu but when I press a button on my analog phone the menu doesn't recognised that i pressed it.
jsolaresthreat: it could be anything, your phone not configured correctly, asterisk not configured correctly, your pots provider not configured correctly
LeddyHMor god farted
dc3aesso I uuhh... may or may not have set one of my other PAP2 devices to the same userid causing the problem with internal extensions not ringing on the second try :/
LeddyHM;)
threatjsolares, ok, do you know any way to eliminate any of those variables?
LeddyHMdtmf is the bane of voip existence, for me at least
threat: contact your voip provider
