| zamfield | I guess I need to test this out a little more and watch the console to see how a forwarded call is matched |
| JT | it will probably look like a normal call |
| zamfield | ok, so then say for example Dr. No has the number 123-456-7890 and forwards to our number 123-456-0987 at 5 p.m. At 5:01 a patient calls him and gets forwarded to us. Will the call match exten => 123-456-0987 because that is our number or will it match 123-456-7890 because our telco routed it auto-magically across our PRI? |
| JT | zamfield: i theorise it must be 7890, your current pbx must match it somehow |
| zamfield | That was my original theory too, I just started to second guess myself after talking about fudging the callerid(text) |
| poli | hello all. I am having trouble trying to use a SIP provider with asterisk... sip show registry shows it is registered as it should but when trying to call from that SIP provider, connection can't come through. When I substitute asterisk for a softphone, all works as expected. The only message I get is "Got 200 OK on REGISTER that isn't a register" is that a known condition? |
| zamfield | JT, ManxPower, everyone. Thanks for the assistance I'll pop back on tomorrow night and let you know if all worked well, but it's off to bed for now. :) |
| JT | zamfield: alright, |
| ms345 | if I have fxsks channels going to my legacy pbx t1 card and fxoks channels going to my telco how can I relay the number dialed? I tried exten =>_X.,1,Dial(Zap/g5/${EXTEN}) which is what I do on the pri's I relay but no luck |
| JT | ms345: do incoming calls work? |
| ms345 | it is a LD t1 so I never have had acall come in on it.. I don;t think it has any numbers associtated with it. lust ld incoming come in on a pri |
| JT | do outbound work? |
| ms345 | I tried sending another extension to Dial(Zap/g5/17818212199) and Dial(Zap/g5/7818212199) but no luck... let me pastbin |
| JT | do you get any errors? because you should wrong signalling type you should be using fxsks to the telco, and fxoks to the legacy pbx |
| ms345 | this is what I see when I send a call out on the ld t1 http://utils.eurion.net/pastebin/index.php?15289 and I get fast busy fast busy even when "rining" ringing... wow it's late |
| JT | why are you dialling with a curly bracket on the end? |
| ms345 | doh same behaviour with the curly... |
| JT | with or without? |
| ms345 | sorry - w/o curly [wow it's late] and same w/o the 1 in front of 10 digit number |
| JT | try two "w"s in front of it all maybe it needs to wait a fraction |
| ms345 | ok same thing http://utils.eurion.net/pastebin/index.php?23719 and I get the fast busy on the first ringing |
| JT | do you have a full 24 channels? |
| ms345 | yes - ld t1 is 24 and I set it so fxoks=97-120 |
| JT | to the telco?? |
| ms345 | wrong fx_ ? |
