I have an AGI script which is implemented in PHP, when a call comes in, it gets the display name we want based on the DIN/DID and then plays the caller a greeting. However the CDR logs then show the time from the minute the call hits the system all the way until the end of the converstation, so its showing all the talk time and hold time together
is this a case when I should use ResetCDR
|bpiper||Guys, I have been trying to install asterisk, but for the life of me, I cant figure it out. I downloaded 1.2.17, unzip'd, then make clean, make, make install... when I connect via asterisk -cvvvvvvv it doesn't... am I doing something wrong with the install?|
FYI, no error during the compiling
|propagandhi||bpiper: is the asterisk process running?|
|Damin||What hppens when you start it w/ asterisk -vvvvvfg from the command line?|
|Qwell||Damin: You use -f?|
|mitcheloc||whats up j|
|Qwell||mitcheloc: not a lot|
|Damin||Qwell: Always have..|
Qwell: When I'm testing my configs for a first install.. yeah..
Qwell: When I run it regularly, no..
|Qwell||why not -c?|
|bpiper||it goes through manager registered action, then parsing manager.conf & manager_custom.conf then dies|
|jbot||i guess freepbx is unable to be supported here. It's a complex piece of dialplan and GUI, and can't be easily supported by people who aren't deeply involved. Try joining #freepbx and asking there|
|bpiper||no, it's fresh from asterisk's site|
|Damin||Qwell: Cause I don't think it was actually implemented when I started using -vvvfg :)|
|Qwell||Damin: fair enough|
bpiper: Your configs are from freepbx. Remove them and start fresh.
|Damin||bpiper: rm -f /etc/asterisk ; cd /usr/src/asterisk ; make samples|
At least I think it's make samples..
It might be make config
and -f won't kill the dir
