russellbJuggie: ooh, lots of buttons
Juggie: might be fun with SLA :)
Juggie[TK]D-Fender, so far as i know they design all their own stuff, all their phones have the same look @ feel
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : Just found the 5235 for $359. Reasonable if the quality / usability & stability are there.
russellb : weren't .... YOU the one getting around the the rewrite of SLA? ;)
russellb[TK]D-Fender: yep. In fact, it's pretty much done
Juggierussellb, me and blitzrage got the mitel phone working w/ multiple registrations
[TK]D-Fenderrussellb: w00t
russellb[TK]D-Fender: I have one thing to test tomorrow ... but the code is all there, already in the 1.4 branch
robby____also, turns out my sip hint problem earlier was fixed with a full asterisk restart, reloading sip/extensions wouldnt do it
Juggiethe ui is kind of clunky to set it up, but once we figured it out it was easy
russellbso it'll be in 1.4.1 which should be this week
[TK]D-Fenderrussellb : And I'll be right there waiting.... for 1.4.1.aSTABLE :)
russellbheh
Juggie[TK]D-Fender, i would argue that the 5235 is wayyy to high end for most users
apturawhere should my tx gain be at when watching ztmonitor. I am less then the 1/4 legnth of the bar graph. 300-500 on tx.
Juggiethe 5212 would be fine for 90% of people.
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : Ummm... DUH!
Juggiei only have it because they got some to try and well, i know the right people to get one.
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : IP 430 covers jsut about every non receptionist user....
russellb[TK]D-Fender: The asterisk repository is nearly 10 thousand revisions past the tag of 1.4.0. Now I'm going to go get some stats on how much we have changed in 1.4 since then :)
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : Exactly the only grounds under which I'm likely to do the same :)
Juggie[TK]D-Fender, i dont know what the IP430 is.
[TK]D-Fenderrussellb : So basically you adapted the revisioning system on a streaming-per-byte-basis? ;)
Juggie : Polycom SoundPoint IP 430
Juggieah, i've never used polycoms my apologies.
russellb[TK]D-Fender: heh, nope. Most of the rev numbers disappear because of our automerge system
Juggiewell thats a lie, i have
just not a sip phone
russellbAll developer branches are automatically kept up to date
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : You should try... its all the rage with kids these days :D
Juggie[TK]D-Fender, i dont work with asterisk at the office anymore
unfortunatally.
now i deal with CDR records
for our toll free network
funfun
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : I had 3 Polycoms at my HOME. Thats 1 per room.
russellbchanges in the 1.4 branch since 1.4.0 ... 190 files changed, 18571 insertions(+), 6538 deletions(-)
Juggie[TK]D-Fender, i have a 5215 (old model of the 5212) @ home.
[TK]D-FenderJuggie : Sounds more like Diet Fun. Just like normal Fun, only half the Fun.
