DarkJesusI don't think openquake can
spasticteapotWith "apropos" and "man", even a dolt like me can do some neato networking stuff.
VardyrDarkJesus: yeah, as long as they don't use punkbuster
DarkJesusRight
STiATspasticteapot: windoes just does better for me in one thing - games
VardyrDarkJesus: there are two ways to get pak0.pk3.... ;-)
DarkJesusHuh?
spasticteapotSTiAT: Totally not true. FloboPuyo pwns all.
STiATspasticteapot: and since i'm not interested in games...
Vardyrthat package doesn't come with the artwork contained in pak0.pk3 on the retail release
that part isn't free
spasticteapotAnd, ironically enough, I've actually had better luck with WINE than with Windows on a few games I've tried.
Vardyryou build the package, then copy pak0.pk3 to /opt/quake3/baseq3/
spasticteapotAt least Civilization II actually would run for a full game. Windows would usually crash first. :)
STiATspasticteapot: just not top-nodge technology. Stalker or similar won't run. Also, i've troubles getting plsql developer running, a simple windows program, in wine....
DarkJesusVardyr, PM?
Talking about quake here is kinda off topic
Husiodamn, gnuchess needs 100% of cpu to work? 0o
mainerfilezilla's in aur if anyone is interested
just noticed it,a little diff than gftp
Fhey guys
cghislaihi. Who own /usr/share/locale? Is there a clean way to remove useless locales?
phrikRSS Update: aurpkgs: berusky
mainercghislai: pacman -Qo <pkgname>
kbrooks(06:28:11 PM) spasticteapot: And, ironically enough, I've actually had better luck with WINE than with Windows on a few games I've tried. # how ironic that is. (not a question, a statement please note)
cghislaiok, some package fill the /usr/share/locale dir. how to clean it from useless locales - in a clean way ?
spasticteapotkbrooks: Windows usually managed to crash before I finished a @#$#@ game.
Fquestion: after the last pacman -Syu
my ndiswrapper modules have been unable to loadup at boottime
i get a FATAL: somethingorther ndisrapper.ko
but its too quick for me to reead completely
is anyone else having this problem?
kbrooksspasticteapot: i wasn't asking.
Fi am using the bcmwl5 driver.
kbrooksspasticteapot: i was making a statement.
Fndiswrapper -l; tells me: bcmwl5 : driver installed
linfancghislai: edit /etc/locale.gen and run locale-gen
Fdevice (14E4:4311) present (alternate driver: bcm43xx)
aha
modprobe ndiswrapper: FATAL: Could not open '/lib/modules/2.6.20-ARCH/misc/ndiswrapper.ko': no such file or directory
