tomkxphan0x - there's a commented example in rc.conf
But you should try what Fal- suggested first
scionphan0x: eth0="eth0 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255" sthg like that
phan0xhmm
when i do /etc/rc.d/network restart i get: Starting network [BUSY] SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory
tomkxphan0x - it seems you do not have a network interface. You need to find out why your network module is not loading
wide-eyeor a typo on the interfaces line
