pctonyoh that is a passion for a handful of us
arreydersorry about that, I just had to see if she knew about it
Mathmannah, I'm an idiot. I needed execute permissions apparently. but now I get this kinda error on the same files: Exec format error: exec of
pctonyverbatim
fajitaVerbatim means "word for word" "copy and paste". It means we want the exact error message from the error log. That also means use a pastebin for >3 lines. Ask me about 'apc' for which pastebin to use.
pctonyMathman: ^^
FBSoulManapc
fajitaTry using http://apache.pastebin.ca - It's a good pastebin, and is even set up to highlight Apache 'stuff'.
MathmanExec format error: exec of '/var/www/cgi-bin/calendar/theme/color_select.js' failed, referer: http://hydrogen/cgi-bin/calendar/plans
Keith_pctony: http://hotelmario.info/error.bmp
Mathmanwell, and then it also has this one: Premature end of script headers: color_select.js
pctonyKeith_: and where did you get apache from?
and how did you install it?
Keith_pctony: The Apache Website (a mirror) - and I used the installer
pctony: I sorta just clicked any random mirror
pctonythats ok
thats fine
so long as you checked the md5 hash
;)
Keith_:|
pctonythat'll be a nope then
Keith_By checked do you mean - clicked? Theres no checkbox
pctonydont worry
too late now anyway
Keith_k
pctonyso how did you try to start it?
Keith_It tried to start when I first installed it, then I used the Apache Monitor then clicked Start
It says that its starting, but it doesn't start
pctonyhrmmm
id look in the errorlog
errorlog
fajitaerrorlog is http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/core.html#errorlog or the directive that specifies the file in which errors should be recorded. (Hint: ask me about the error log)
pctonyerror log
fajitaLook for the ErrorLog directive in your configuration file. Common locations include /var/log/apache/error_log, /var/log/httpd/error_log, /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log, and "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache/[version]/logs/error.log"
pctonysee the location from fajita
Rprppctony: Now i dont see errors / warnings anymore, but still it could not bind to '0.0.0.0:80' :(,
j1324Quick question: How much slow is apache2 on windows, than on linux?
