| fajita | RewriteEngine On is required if you plan to actually *use* your RewriteRules rather than collect them |
| Prada | would you PLEASE go to the link |
| jMCg | Prada: we are. |
| Prada | zeke20073 zeke2007 ???? |
| gryzor | Prada: be quiet |
| Prada | are you there? Available in Apache 1.3 and later |
| jMCg | Yes. |
| Prada | YOU be quiet! no one else is helping him |
| jMCg | O_o I'm weirded out. |
| thumbs | Prada: shush |
| zeke2007 | But it works for some RewriteRule s. So I think they don't use so old version |
| jink | Prada: care to like, not paste to the channel? |
| Chris8494 | can someone please help? I am trying to install 2.2.4 under Win-NT4/SP6, 1.3.27 is also installed, trying to install from the Win32.msi just results in the message "The Installation Wizard was interrupted before Apache HTTP Server 2.2.4 could be completely installed" |
| thumbs | Prada: if you think we're not gonna help you, then I wonder why you still hang out in here |
| yango | Chris8494: do you see anything in the installation log? |
| Chris8494 | I see a lot..... unfortunately I don't see anything that looks specific to why it failed |
| thumbs | I take that back, I wonder why you're here period |
| jink | zeke2007: could very well be that apache doesn't support \d. could you change that to [0-9] ? |
| yango | Chris8494: so it's something like ok;ok;ok;EOF |
| jink | zeke2007: and it looks like you forgot the 1 at the end: cat_id=$1 |
| Chris8494 | I do see these two lines: Action ended 1:29:09: ResolveServerName. Return value 3. MSI (c) (90:7F): Doing action: SetupCompleteError |
| jink | perhaps you didn't correctly setup your machine hostname? |
| Chris8494 | the last more-than-50% of the log is "Property(C): <various stuff>" what would be the machine hostname? I have been successfully running Apache 1.3.27 for a couple of years now actually, I was able to install XAMPP successfully, but I didn't like the lack of security settings, so I thought I would install Apache/PHP/MySQL seperately (updates that is) |
| jink | Chris8494: i suggest you google for "ResolveServerName. Return value 3." include the quotes. there's some actual results there |
| Chris8494 | btw - where are my manners - hello and thank you for responding :-) |
