megaspazyou know if that's in a defined location or is it the standard user's home?
CuriosCatmegaspaz: I think their best bet for getting perchild to work would be to remove it and merge the peruser patch :)
PennFanhello everybody, is anyone familiar with apache mod_ssl, mod_proxy? i installed mod_proxy, it works so far, but the pass through of the client certificate does NOT work. in the error log there is this warning: Proxy client certificate callback: (iwrgustest.fzk.de:443) downstream server wanted client certificate but none are configured
CuriosCatmegaspaz: Defined location, and I'll be trying that next.
stocke2if I change the index.html to index.shtml it does not put the include line in there but tells me an error occurred while parsing the directive
megaspazthen it sounds like that new security issue won't be a new security issue... if it works...
CuriosCatthat means it's trying to process it but your directive isn't correct.
actionmegaspaz wishes CuriosCat good luck. according to peruser, that mod is still somewhat experimental
megaspazwishes CuriosCat good luck. according to peruser, that mod is still somewhat experimental
CuriosCatmegaspaz: It is.
MidMarkDrBacchus: ok here it is: [Tue Mar 27 09:43:53 2007] [alert] [client 85.33.225.34] /home/web/website/.htaccess: ErrorDocument not allowed here
stocke2hhmmmmm
the pages I am serving are in my directory http://myserver/~eric/flamenet/.....
but it is looking for the file in /Library/Webserver/Documents/
fajitaHmm. No matches for that, stocke2.
CuriosCatmegaspaz: Telana (the author's hosting co) runs it in production though ;)
stocke2it is looking in the root for the webserver, not the root for the site I am serving
CuriosCatmegaspaz: I'm trying it out on my personal server for a bit first; on my personal server, if apache crashes, it's not a big deal
that way, I'll have some confidence in its stability before putting it into production at work.
stocke2there it goes, the last problem was my fault
appreciate it
DrBacchusMidMark: What is AllowOverride set to?
fajita: errordocument override
fajitaErrorDocument may be used in .htaccess files if AllowOverride is set to FileInfo
MidMarkDrBacchus: understood, a question: I have different AllowOverride in the config, but a site can override and ovveride directive?
I mean
<Directory />Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride AuthConfig</Directory>
then below I have -> AllowOverride None
DrBacchusMidMark: Ok, for starters, you should NEVER EVER have AllowOverride set to anything but 'None' in <Directory />
MidMarkok
I have it :)
DrBacchusIn answer to your question, though, yes, a 'deeper' Directory block overrides one above it in the directory tree.
MidMark: Yes. I see that. Change it.
MidMarkgood
CuriosCatDrBacchus: So, if mpm-perchild is obviously broken, and mpm-peruser has a few cosmetic bugs but works, why is mpm-perchild in the official tarball while mpm-peruser is not? :P
DrBacchusCuriosCat: Because one of them is developed by the Apache httpd team, and the other isn't.
CuriosCatHas anyone worked on it, ever?
it's basically been there but broken since 2.0 came out :P
DrBacchusDunno. Never paid much attention to it. See http://svn.apache.org and you can see exactly who has done what, when.
CuriosCathrm. no httpd-2.2 tree?
oh, the current is just httpd
