jpegjMCg: wow.
fajita[ systest] Is it possible to setup a static route with a gateway that is NOT on the local subnet, i.e. gw is two or more hops out?
jpegI've been away from IIS and Windows so long that that amount of complexity scares me.
jMCgjpeg: first time I saw it, I literally screamed.
By now I'm enjoying about as much as Merzbow or Nurse with Wound or other Japanese music [a.k.a SICK SHIT]
elliottcableDoes anybody know where I can get an ABSOLUTELY bare-bones apache.conf?
sorry, httpd.conf?
sharpiethe default one isn't too fancy
elliottcablesharpie: Is too much for me )-: I just mean like, what settings are ABSOLUTELY requried for apache to startup?
Hmm
Directory path
fajitaDirectory path is %stripped off within a directory scope
elliottcableand a DocumentRoot - do I need them both
Daveman:)
elliottcableDaveman: wassup
DavemanHello :)
elliottcablehow're you
DavemanQuite well, thank you :)
elliottcableHow do I use apachectl with a non-standard conf location?
Is there no like $ apachectl -f /s/apache2/conf/httpd.conf command?
Davemanapachectl
fajitaapachectl is http://httpd.apache.org/docs/programs/apachectl.html or just a shell script.;can be hacked to set things like library paths, umasks, etc
elliottcableDaveman: Thanks
fajitaNo worries
elliottcablefajita: Stupid bot d-:
fajitaelliottcable: huh?
elliottcablelol
Davemanstupid bot
fajitaDumb human.
Daveman:D
elliottcableol
I see the stuff in apachectl
but nothing about the path to the configuration file )-:
Just the path to the httpd itself
DrBacchusThe path to the configuration file is built into the httpd binary. If you wish to specify a different config file, pass a -f argument to httpd.
Or to apachectl, for that matter. The answer to your original question is, yes, there is.
elliottcableDrBacchus: So I can edit this line in apachectk
HTTPD='/opt/local/apache2/bin/httpd'
to maybe
HTTPD='/opt/local/apache2/bin/httpd -f /s/apache2/conf/httpd.conf'
