|fajita||[ systest] Is it possible to setup a static route with a gateway that is NOT on the local subnet, i.e. gw is two or more hops out?|
|jpeg||I've been away from IIS and Windows so long that that amount of complexity scares me.|
|jMCg||jpeg: first time I saw it, I literally screamed.|
By now I'm enjoying about as much as Merzbow or Nurse with Wound or other Japanese music [a.k.a SICK SHIT]
|elliottcable||Does anybody know where I can get an ABSOLUTELY bare-bones apache.conf?|
|sharpie||the default one isn't too fancy|
|elliottcable||sharpie: Is too much for me )-: I just mean like, what settings are ABSOLUTELY requried for apache to startup?|
|fajita||Directory path is %stripped off within a directory scope|
|elliottcable||and a DocumentRoot - do I need them both|
|Daveman||Quite well, thank you :)|
|elliottcable||How do I use apachectl with a non-standard conf location?|
Is there no like $ apachectl -f /s/apache2/conf/httpd.conf command?
|fajita||apachectl is http://httpd.apache.org/docs/programs/apachectl.html or just a shell script.;can be hacked to set things like library paths, umasks, etc|
|elliottcable||fajita: Stupid bot d-:|
I see the stuff in apachectl
but nothing about the path to the configuration file )-:
Just the path to the httpd itself
|DrBacchus||The path to the configuration file is built into the httpd binary. If you wish to specify a different config file, pass a -f argument to httpd.|
Or to apachectl, for that matter. The answer to your original question is, yes, there is.
|elliottcable||DrBacchus: So I can edit this line in apachectk|
HTTPD='/opt/local/apache2/bin/httpd -f /s/apache2/conf/httpd.conf'
