dsch04SSLSessionCache shmcb:C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/logs/ssl_scache(512000)
MrPiangi can't stop my apache server what the problems ?
jMCgdsch04: looks rather clear to me.
dsch04Go on ...
jMCgThe error message says it only supports none, nonenotnull or dbm:/
You have shmcb:path
dsch04That's the default, i.e. as it came from ASF
Aha, got it - it's a quoting issue - spaces in the path
jMCgAlso, you have a fucking ugly path, which I would NOT accept. But then again.. that's just me.
dsch04Again, that's the default path produced by the ASF
SSLSessionCache "shmcb:C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/logs/ssl_scache(512000)"
works
jMCgGreat.
dsch04Looks like there are a raft of paths that need quoting. <sigh>
NewMonarchHey, what are the benefits of running Apache as a service on Windows?
jMCgNewMonarch: in general, or as opposed to running IIS as a service on Windows?
NewMonarchwell, I've got this GUI for my AMP setup on Windows called and running all the components as a service is an option
didn't know whether to choose it or not
jMCgAha.
I will accept that as such, whatever it means.
NewMonarchhaha
did I not make sense?
DavemanMEGASPAZZES
DrBacchusNewMonarch: Running it as a service means, to oversimplify, that it will start up automatically on reboot. It's the right way to run a web server.
NewMonarchfair enough
jMCgNewMonarch: hardly anything concerning Windows makes sense for me.
NewMonarchuh yeah me either
unfortunately one my biggest clients insists on using SQL Server
Kaitlyn2004can someone please help me with my SPF record?
jMCgspf?
fajitaspf is for losers.
jMCgAha
