why doesnt this RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9]+)?$ page.html?_mID=$1 [L] rewrite whatever.com/test to whatever.com/page.html?_mID=test ? it does work on directories though
whatever.com/example whatever.com/example/?_mID=example is what happens
drkmdoes anyone know how I can use htaccess to shorten a url.. when someone goes to www.me.com I want it to display www.me.com/form/ but keep the domain url as www.me.com ?
Mrdinidrkm, _just_ for that url? redirect
CarlFKdrkm: how about maing form the docroot
<- clueless
drkmMrDini: yeah everything else to be normal, apart from that
CarlFK: what's that?
CarlFKdrkm: the dir that is the root of what apache serves
drkmCarlFK: I don't have access to the config. I can only do this through .htaccess
?
x_orI'm struggling to get apache virtual hosts working. I have virtual hosts working off a basename, but the other hosts with a completely different domain are not working at all. Can anyone offer suggestions?
Meaning, I have foo.boxpopuli.com, and bar.boxpopuli.com working, but cannot get webcastinabox.com working.
ggg333Hi, there any way I have run two apache(i know using two individual ports) and actually share the load between them..........
like we use tomcat(as may tomcats and using workers.properties, we balance the load)... is it can be done
