Victor_1985is that complicated?
lampDirectoryIndex
fajitaDirectoryIndex is http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_dir.html#directoryindex or http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/mod_dir.html#directoryindex
Victor_1985thanks buddy
it solves me a huge problem
i think i got to spend some times to reading the documentation now
god, i love how wordpress looks
lampVictor_1985: you're welcome :)
pctonyyango: what do you want me to do?
blue_lizardhello all
i need some help with my apache configuration
my problem is that i miss $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA and $_POST in php if i use the external address of my workstation
it works if i use the internal ip 127.0.0.1
pctony##php ??
fajitaGo that-a-way -->
blue_lizardi dont think it is an php problem
pctonythen you need to
elaborate
fajitaYou make no sense, try to rephrase your question and elaborate on what you want, what you tried, and what didn't work (paste the error message you see in the error log, usually named error_log or error.log). Also tell us what platform you are on and what version of apache you are using.
pctonyplease
blue_lizardi dont have any error in the message file
pctonyok, but you stil need to expand fully on what you are trying to do, how you have tried, and what has not worked,
also try and let us know how you expected it to work
blue_lizardi tried to install joomla on my workstation and it worked
at least as far as i used it over 127.0.0.1
but not over the external ip address
after some time i went down to this script which shows me that i am missing some vars in php
i checked my config 3 times and i dont find an error
i downgraded from php5 to php4 same problem
i chekced my apache configuration too
msbhvnblue_lizard: what happens when you try to access it externally?
blue_lizardhttp://phpfi.com/215076
thats the script
if i try to acces it externalle $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA and $_POST are empty
pctonyand where are those vras used/set ?
blue_lizardshouldnt they come from apache?
pctonyi'm asking you if they are php/joomla/whatever vars
blue_lizardno they are not
they are global vars that should work in php and afaik in perl/python too
pctonyblue_lizard: then I cannot see why apache would not populate those vars if they work internally
