fholmesits called a netsplit usually. Maybe I am wrong.
beg1689hmm
fholmesIt allows the irc servers a chance to redistribute the load to multiple servers.
beg1689i dont tihnk i know how to do it in ubuntu
in fc6 i just threw some files in the www folder and started the httpd service
ok i see, with the defaults just put your site in /var/www and run sudo apache2
but if your behind a DSL or cable internet port 80 is probably blocked, so youll need to change it to access the site outside your local net
what was the command on here to tesdt a server

beg1689guess it dont work
my route isnt doing what its supposed to then
router
fajitaIn order to access your web site behind a router, you must forward the port apache is listening on to your internal IP. Then you can access your site by pointing your browser to http://<your external IP here>:<port>. If your ISP blocks port 80, see 'port 80 redirection'. Instructions on how to
..forward a port using most common routers can be found at http://portforward.com
