Ruckushttp://pastebin.archlinux.org/1936 is the .htaccess file
tofuwarriorDrBacchus: any idea or are you stumped too?
mechtnya i stumped him w00t :P
sockmonkI wonder if the .htaccess file gets parsed again before serving up image.png?
RuckusI dont know why it would :\
sockmonkmaybe change the second rule to basically 'anything except /image.png'
RuckusI suck at regex, i can do simple stuff only.
tofuwarrioranyone help out with virtual host problem. I think my DrBacchus has had to go?
opapoI am using mod_log_forensic and am pointing to a file set aside for forensic work. All that is in that file is a bunch of "-" characters.
sockmonkjust add a ! in front of the regex
opapoWhat am I doing wrong
Why is everyone leaving? Was it something I said?
Ruckussockmonk: found a sollution :)
RewriteCond %{ENV:REDIRECT_STATUS} =200
RewriteRule ^ - [L]
found it at http://forum.dreamhosters.com/troubleshooting/68716-Mod_Rewrite-ignores-L-directive.htm
mechtnis there a good easy blog that goes with apache?
catsupIndexOrderDefault Descending Date
pctonymechtn: no not really, what do you want a blog for?
sockmonkRuckus: ah. I don't think I've ever put rewrite rules in an .htaccess file. not surprised it's different.
SJr|WorkHow can I figure out the source for apache?
errr where the source for apache was
eikelmthey gues I have a couple of quick questions
Ruckushah :P
sockmonkSJr|Work: depends on how you installed it.
You can download the generic source files from httpd.apache.org, but your apache might have been patched before it was compiled.
eikelmti am going to install apache from scratch, and I want to install apache into the folder /opt/apache2 as well as support for ssl and mod_jk
is the first command ./configure prefix=/opt/apache2 ????
psusihow does apache decide the mime type of files? is it system specific? because it looks like on debian it uses a mime type list belonging to the mime-support package, which is debian specific
mechtnpctony, keep up with all my gentoo work :)
sockmonkeikelmt: yes, but you'll want a couple more flags to include ssl and mod_jk support ( to compile them in directly), or else a flag to include mod_so so you can include them later as modules
